1. Dungeons — The Primary Income Source
Running dungeons (Expeditions and Conquests) is the most direct path to wealth. Income directly depends on difficulty, premium status, and Odyle Energy.
- On “Hard” difficulty with premium and 80 Odyle energy, you can earn over 1,000,000 Kina per run.
- On “Normal” (e.g., Fire Temple, Acron, Ururugu, Dropni and Krau) earnings can reach up to 600,000 Kina per run.
Important: The number of runs is limited by entry scrolls, and the reward depends on Odyle Energy. Plan your runs in advance.
Bonus Loot: Besides pure Kina, dungeons drop Amplify Stone fragments, which can be crafted and sold as Upgrade Stones. Additionally, rare Balaur fragments worth millions drop, as well as Selenitium and Enhance Stones. Hard mode also has a chance to drop tradable gold and orange gear worth tens of millions.
2. Grinding (Farming Mobs in the Open World)
Killing regular mobs doesn’t yield much pure Kina but generously rewards valuable sellable drops. It’s an excellent way to combine leveling (raising Genosis level and studying mobs for stats) and earning.
- Valuable Resources: Raw Leather, Spirit Stones, Fresh Meat, Fresh Fruit, Refining Stones.
- Critical Drop: Especially prized are tradable gold gear, which sells instantly on the auction house for 400k-800k each.
Best Place to Grind: The Abyss, where the chance for valuable resources is increased and there is no daily drop limit.
3. Gathering Resources
Gathering professions are a stable source of income. The most in-demand resource is Odyle, with the price of the Gold version fluctuating between 200k and 250k each. Yggdrasil Wood, Orichalcum Ore, Aria Flowers, and all types of precious gems (Sapphires, Rubies, Diamonds) are also highly valuable. No gathering is useless, but their efficiency varies.
4. Market Play: Flipping
If you understand prices, you can become a successful trader. The principle is simple:
- Check prices on the World and Local auction houses.
- Buy items where they are cheaper (often on the World Market).
- Sell the purchased items on the Local Auction House at a higher price.
The price difference between markets can net hundreds of thousands in profit per transaction.
5. Quests and Events
Don’t forget about one-time and regular activities:
- “Duty” Quests: Can bring up to 200,000 Kina per quest.
- Events (Sugar Festival, Rift events): Allow you to obtain tradable Odyle, including Gold, which can be sold for profit.
6. Converting Abyss Points and Oath Coins (Alchemy)
Another fairly profitable weekly method for active PvP players.
- Earn Abyss Points or Oath Coins.
- Purchase Mana Stones or Soul Stones.
- Use Alchemy to upgrade Mana Stones or Soul Stones into Superior versions and sell them.
- The chance to get a Superior version of a stone is about 20% per batch of 5 regular stones.
Income: The minimum price for a Superior Soul Stone is 700,000, and for a Superior Mana Stone it’s 330,000. This allows for a stable weekly income of around 10 million Kina.
7. Transcendence Dungeons
Running these dungeons provides not only Kina but also valuable Stigma fragments. At Level 7+ difficulty, you can earn over 1,000,000 Kina per run.
8. Crafting and Professions
Creating items is a gamble, but there are stable options:
- Consumables: Scrolls, potions, Mana Stones, and Soul Stones are always in demand.
- Cooking: Expensive food for challenging content sells well. Keep an eye on the “Supply Request” section to see what’s currently trending.
9. Finding Hidden Cubes
Hidden Cubes are scattered throughout the world of Aion 2. Finding them is a risky but profitable activity.
- Each cube guarantees Selenitium, worth 50,000+ Kina.
- Critical Drop: Golden Wing skins and other item skins can fetch up to 3,000,000 Kina.
10. Important Limitations and Tips
- Odyle Energy Limitation: The main limit for farming in dungeons. Many players create alts (secondary characters) to run dungeons multiple times per day.
- Kina Transfer Problem: In Aion 2, transferring Kina between characters is difficult. Without a premium status, you cannot use the auction house or trade at all. Direct player-to-player trading incurs a 20% system commission fee.
- Premium is Essential: For serious farming and trading, a premium status is mandatory. It increases rewards and unlocks auction house access.
Final Result
The fastest income comes from Conquest Dungeons and mob grinding. For stable earnings, resource gathering and crafting consumables are suitable. Don’t ignore Sugar events and Hidden Cubes — they are a nice bonus to your budget.
Combine several methods, consider energy and premium limitations, and your Kina reserves in Aion 2 will start to grow!
